This class explores introduction to musical improvisation. Over six sessions you will learn singprov basics in both short form, structured games and scenes into song. Grow your confidence in singing onstage, establishing characters with strong emotions and earning your songs. Discover how music can take your scenes, characters and craft to the next level. All voices welcome and encouraged – it’s not about your voice – it’s about your commitment!
Musical Improv Level 2
Take your musical improv to the next level! In this class, we’ll explore song structures, rhyme schemes, and—most importantly—the emotional wants and needs of your characters. You'll learn to think on your feet, stay present in the moment, experiment with musical genres, and make music collaboratively with your scene partners.
